Blessing Day!!

Paige Krystine Willoughby was blessed on the first Sunday of the month, August 2nd. What a wonderful experience! I cannot express the love that filled my heart on that Sunday. Just thinking about what an incredible blessing we had come into our lives on June 27th 2009 filled my soul with such love and gratitude for what an amazing gift God has given us. Paige has been the absolute best thing that has ever happened in my life (next to marrying the man of my dreams ;) I love being a mother and wouldn't trade it for the world. I don't know how I ever lived life, or breathed without her! I just couldn't help but think of the love that filled my heart when they laid her in my arms for the first time, or the way that Scott looked at her after she was born. I tasted a little piece of heaven that day. I knew that I would "love" her more than anything, but what I experienced was so much more than that... I experienced true pure love! I now understand the pure love that our Heavenly father has for each and everyone of his children. I am so thankful for my knowledge of the gospel and that we can be together as a family forever!

Paige in her beautiful blessing dress... She looked so cute. She really didn't like being in it though... I think that it must have been really itchy. (I don't blame her, I wouldn't want to wear it either :) Oh, what mother's do to their children to make them look cute!)

We had such a wonderful day~ We had lots of family come to the blessing...

Mommy & Daddy holding Paige, by the end of the day she was pretty grouchy... so she doesn't look to happy in this one. So Mommy was feeling pretty guilty for making her sweet little girl wear that itchy dress so we changed her into something a little more comfortable after church. To tell you the truth, to make it worse... we had to put her back in the dress cause I had forgotten to take any pictures of her in it, poor thing and she thought that she was safe, think again Paige! ;)

Here's Scott's Brother's Family. The kids were so cute taking turns holding her. They drove all the way from Arizona! And Scott's sister even drove up too, from Utah. We are so blessed to have such supportive families! We just wanted to say thanks to everyone in each of our families for making such an incredible effort to come and visit Paige after she was born and for the blessing.

Paige was born Saturday, June 27th @ 9:11 am... weighing in @ 7 lbs 2 ounces.

This is our favorite pic so far~ She is so beautiful. What a wonderful spirit Paige has brought into our home. Being parents is the best thing ever!!! We can't imagine her not being in our lives, so excited for what the future will bring. :)

Finally finished! All the painting, sewing and upholstering, and we are finally done! We tried to do a panoramic view of her room so it was all on one picture, but we couldn't get it to work... We will try again, but for now here are a few pics!

38 weeks, working on Paige's room & some baby shower pics

So, I totally should have taken pictures a few weeks ago before Paige dropped... She was a lot higher! Anyway, I figured that it has been a while since I updated the bump! Oh, so uncomfortable... Scott and I hope she will get here soon. :)

We have been working on Paige's room and we wanted to document some of the items that we were fixing up for her room. The shelves and lamp were really gross they were dark brown and looked really old and bet up. We painted them white and gave them a little "face-lift". Scott did most of the work, and let me just say... he did an awesome job. Here are some of the pics:

BABY SHOWER~My Mom, sisters in-law, and sister threw me a baby shower! It was awesome! They did such great job. We played some really fun games and there was great food and company. Oh, how fun! Only regret... I wish I would have taken more pictures!!!!! They went to so much work and I just wish I would have documented it better. Thanks SO much for everything you guys do. We really appreciate it! :) Here are some pics from the shower...

Week 32 Pics

Here's some recent pictures that Bethany, one of our friends, took for us. She is into photography, so she offered to take some pics for us. We don't get too many chances to have both of us in any pictures together. One of us is always taking the picture and the other is in the picture. And yes we know this won't change... even after we have kids ;) It is so nice to have some fun pictures to keep for our memories... Thanks Bethany!!!!!

Belly's getting pretty big...

If you can believe it, I am quite a bit bigger now... Scott and I will post some pics of the belly this week, we are @ 34 weeks (only 6 more to go!) Man, I've got to start documenting better...

These are a pair of shoes that we bought before we ever got pregnant. We thought that they were adorable! It worked out so nicely, they were pink and now we are having a girl!

More Ultrasound Pics!

So... at our last Dr's appointment we had another ultrasound. Our final peek at our little girl before she is finally born! (WE ARE SOOOO EXCITED!) Anyway just wanted to share a few of our favorites~

Ok, so I would like to think that she is looking right at the camera. I know that probably isn't the case, but it's still a fun picture. I am sure her eyes are closed and it's just a shadow, but cool huh?

Here's the heart beat... the heart is the dark image at the top and the waves at the bottom measure the heart beat.

Ok, so I totally think this one looks like she's an alien :) It's taken more at the top of her head looking down so she looks kinda funny. Cute though...


I know this is kind of a weird pic but I think it is so cute! I love that you can see the nose and lips with so much detail. It's incredible how much technology has improved. I remember looking at my sister in-laws ultrasound pictures and thinking... I don't see anything!?!?


So this one has to be my ultimate favorite!!! I just can't believe how much it looks like a real photograph. I just can't believe what a wonderful blessing we have coming into our lives! What a beautiful and incredible thing. I just can't thank the Lord enough for all of our many blessings~

I am so thankful for the amazing opportunity that Heavenly Father has given to us to be parents. I am scared but so excited for the unknown. It has been such a wonderful experience so far! Last night she was moving around quite a bit when we laid down to go to bed and Scott and I spent at least 30-45 min just feeling her move. I always thought to myself how can parents just sit there and stare at their children and be completly content with themselves, how boring. But I have definately changed my mind about that now! I get so excited when she moves around and I could honestly just sit there forever and enjoy every moment of it. It makes it even more fun when Scott is around, he talks to her and everything. It's so fun! We are just so excited for her to finally be here... only 8 1/2 more weeks!!!! Yeah! :)
